Completing the daily requirement for sleep

Get directly out of bed

You should instead keep your alarm on the other side of the room so that you have to get out of bed to turn it off. This way you are already awake and alert.

Drink water

When you sleep, your body loses a lot of its fluids resulting in dehydration. This makes you feel sleepy and tired. Drink water directly when you wake up to remove the tiredness of your body.

Exercise when you wake up

Exercise is a great way to open your eyes completely in the morning. It may seem difficult for the first day or so but making it a routine will boost up your energy to a much greater level.

The exercise doesn’t have to be challenging and intense. Even 20 minutes of gentle yoga should do the job.

Go for a walk

You feel much fresher when you expose your body to sunlight and fresh air.

if for some reason you can’t leave your house, then it is recommended to draw your curtains and open your windows to let that fresh air and sunlight come through.
